Course Description

This is the second stage in becoming a beauty therapist, this course is a natural progression for the student who has successfully completed their Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

The Level 3 Beauty Therapy Diploma will provide you with a globally recognised qualification.

Course Dates

The course requires 1 Day per week (Tuesday) attendance at our academy, spread over 14 weeks, including additional assessment days to include assessments and exams. Home study is also required.

What Will The Course Give Me?

Level 3 Diploma in Beauty is a recognised qualification. Armed with it, you can seek employement in the beauty & spa industry as a qualified junior beauty therapist, with opportunities for employment in salons , spa resorts or on cruise liners.

You can also seek employment in the retail industry, selling beauty products or even start your own beauty business.

Awarding Bodies

We offer a choice of courses from two awarding bodies : VTCT or Focus Awards.

Course Details

Course modules depend on which awarding body you choose.

VTCT qualification covers the following units:

  • Provide body electrical treatments
  • Provide facial electrical treatments
  • Provide body massage treatments
  • Provide electrical epilation treatments
  • Monitor procedures to safely control work operations
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
  • Provide stone therapy treatments (optional unit)

Focus Awards has the following units:

  • Provide body massage
  • Promote and sell products and services to clients
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon
  • Provide facial electrotherapy treatments
  • Provide body electrotherapy treatments
